About Me
My name is Kayla and I started pet sitting a few years ago completely by chance! After some time, my name started spreading amongst neighbors and my little business began to grow. Caring for animals is a passion of mine and I enjoy being able to provide piece of mind to owners while they're away from home.
​​I am currently working part time as a Veterinary Assistant and before that I was a Kennel Attendant at a dog boarding and training facility. As you can see, my life has been very animal-oriented for awhile! I took a Veterinary Science course for 2 years and studied Veterinary Technology for a year. At the moment, I own 3 reptiles and a dog who I love dearly.
Pet sitting provides me a way to connect with all kinds of animals and people on a more flexible schedule. As every pet (and home) is unique, free consultation visits are required for first time clients. My rates are stated on the website but please feel free to reach out with any questions!
What I Offer
Emergency Care
I am CPR and First Aid Certified for dogs and cats. In the case of an emergency, I am able to perform life saving procedures to your pet if the situation presents itself.
Administrating Medicine
Many pets are on strict medication regiments and I am experienced in administering oral, topical, and injectable medications to dogs, cats, and reptiles.
Overnight Sitting
While some pets are comfortable with having the house to themselves, many have anxiety around being alone and would prefer a human presence overnight. It's important to provide pets with as much comfort as I can while their families are away.
Exotic Animal Care
I have experience caring for small mammals, reptiles, and fish. I am able to monitor the environments within tanks and other enclosures, while also keeping the habitats clean and providing enrichment.
House Keeping
Keeping the place tidy and completing daily tasks such as getting mail, bringing in packages, and watering plants.
Cat and Dog Care
All aspects of caring for dogs and cats, as well as keeping them entertained with playtime and walks!​
